Calvin Alphonso Woolfolk was born November 24, 1955, to the late Wellington Prenett Woolfolk and Annie Bryant Woolfolk in Richmond, VA and entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2026, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.
Calvin was educated and graduated from Bowling Green Senior High School in the Class of 1974. He played basketball and earned his credentials in masonry. As a sports enthusiast, he was a fan of the San Francisco Forty-Niners, loved any basketball game but his passion was being at the racetrack rooting for those fast-moving, hopped-up cars.
Calvin was lovingly preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Mack Henry, Annie Belle Bryant, and Eva Belle Bryant, Irving and Susie Wingfield Woolfolk, brothers, Wayne and Wellington, Uncles Ervin, Willie, Donald, Joseph, Aunts Clara, Lottie, Marion, Ruth, Rachel, Rosetta, and Willene, as well as, sister-in-law Fannie Brooks Woolfolk.
Calvin leaves cherished memories to his son, Sherod Burruss; sisters, Joyce Spencer(James), Tina Jones, Laverne Childs (Vincent); devoted brother, David Woolfolk; grandchildren, Devonte Burruss and Destiny Smoot; niece Latarsha Woolfolk; nephew James Spencer II; great niece, Kymiah; Uncles Earl Chester and Shelby Bryant (Debbie); devoted cousin, Vernon Lewis and a host of other relatives and friends.
At Calvin's request, no services will be held.
