Laura Hall Davis
July 18, 1958 – May 16, 2026
Surrounded by her family and her best friend, Laura Hall Davis passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, in her Bon Air home. True to how she lived, she left this world enveloped in the love of those who meant the most to her.
Laura grew up in Northern Virginia before moving to Blacksburg, where she graduated from Blacksburg High School in 1977. Living in Blacksburg cemented her lifelong passion for Virginia Tech, and she was known by everyone who knew her as a larger-than-life, die-hard Hokie fan.
Laura was a vibrant force of positivity and energy. While she poured her heart into her community as a local small business owner, her true calling was simply helping others. Whether volunteering for countless organizations or stepping up for a friend in need, she approached every day with a caring, passionate, and loving spirit that inspired everyone around her.
Above all, Laura cherished her people. She was a devoted life partner, an incredible mother, a fiercely loyal friend, and the absolute best "Nonie" to her grandchildren. She deeply treasured her lifelong high school classmates, the many friends she made along the way, and held a beautiful, special place in her heart for her beloved "Ya-Ya’s."
Laura was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Catherine Crim and Edward Hall.
Her legacy of love and laughter lives on in the hearts of her life partner, Mark; her son, Ben, and daughter-in-law, Alyssa; and her three cherished grandchildren, Brycen, Barrett, and Janie. She is also survived by her siblings, Cathy Raines, Steve Hall, and Captain Pete Hall (and sister-in-law, Debby), as well as her beloved Hall and Crim cousins, nieces, and nephews.
To honor what would have been Laura’s 68th birthday, a Celebration of Life is planned for July 18, 2026. The family looks forward to gathering with all who wish to celebrate a truly wonderful mother, Nonie, Ya-Ya, and friend. Specific details regarding the time and location will be shared via Facebook and this page as they are finalized.
