Peter Charles Carroll

Peter Carroll, age 74, passed away on October 29, 2026. He passed away peacefully with family at his side in Moseley, VA. Peter was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Doris (Robinson) Carroll. He was born in Meriden, CT, and graduated from H.C. Wilcox Technical High School. Following graduation, Peter was employed as a carpenter, eventually building his custom family house in Wallingford. He was an enthusiastic volunteer at the New England Air Museum and with the Connecticut Wing Civil Air Patrol. Peter loved time with his family and friends, including rousing setback card games with the South Meriden crew. Upon retirement, he moved to coastal North Carolina where he thoroughly enjoyed swimming, fishing, oyster bakes and driving his cherished beach jeep.

Peter is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen (Neville), and his children and their spouses, Benjamin & Erica Carroll and Amanda & Eric Mayhew. Additionally, he is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Alexandra, Nathan, and Samuel Carroll. Peter is also survived by his siblings Amy, Kathy, Kevin, and Michael and predeceased by his sister Jean. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.

A service for Peter will be held in Connecticut at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that any donations be sent to the New England Air Museum in his name.
