Ronald Lee Marshall

Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Lee Marshall, 77, of Midlothian Virginia left this world peacefully on October 10, 2025. Ronnie was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dixie and Homer Marshall, his sister, Charlotte (Boyd), and his brother, Michael. He is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate, Leisa Marshall, his three adored sons, Tony, Richard, and James ‘Jt’ Marshall, step-son, Ricky Hannah, his siblings, Donna (Jim), Gary (Pat), Nancy (Mike), Patty (Jack), Marcia (John), Randy (Ken). He also leaves behind many in-laws, nieces and nephews, as well as many other loved ones. 

Ronnie was loved by many. He had a laugh that was contagious. He always made sure to tell everyone how much he loved them, while kissing them on the hand. Many remember Ronnie from his pool hall, where he made countless friends. He was a man that wore many hats, and would give you the shirt off of his back. He was definitely one of a kind.The family would like to thank all of Ronnie’s doctors and nurses who helped him through his transition. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Josh at Midlothian Cremation for making this process as painless as possible, and for treating Ronnie with such dignity. We know that this is a sad time for many, but we must remember the promises of God. As Revelation 21:4 tells us, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Ronnie is rejoicing, able to walk once again, this time alongside Jesus. We were the blessed ones, to have had the opportunity to love and be loved by Ronnie.

A service will be held on November 3, 2025 at 3:00 pm in the Amelia Veterans Cemetery, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia Court House, VA 23002. A Reception will follow at 16101 N.
