Sharon Lucille Malone, 65, passed away on Friday June 12th after a brief battle with stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. After growing up in Vermont and Maine she served in the U.S. Army from 1985-1990, primarily stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. There she met and married her life partner, George Malone (69), and had her first child, Christi Malone (36). The remainder of her life was spent in Virginia where her second child Luci Malone (24) completed their family; which was the center of her world. 

Sharon will be remembered for many things including her sharp wit, ready smile, boldness, and playfulness. She was the best cheer mom, talented sign maker, trusted confidant, always dependable and willing to try something new. She is survived by her husband, two children; son-in-law, Nicolas Schilling; sister, Kathleen Brown; brother-in-law, William Brown; sister, Laura Jacobs; as well as many other extended family members whom she cherished greatly. She will be greatly missed and forever celebrated by all of those who love her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date as she did not wish for a funeral.
